Wild Turkeys
We have several wild turkeys that frequent our property and it is always amusing to me to see the males parade before the females, strutting to show off their masculinity. And such arrogance often works. We all are prone toward various kinds of arrogance. The root of such self-promotion is, of course, pride. Scripture is not silent as to what God thinks of such manifestations of arrogance. When he comes in judgment, humility will be rewarded and all forms of pride will be punished. It is best to leave strutting to the turkeys. - John
