God has equipped woodpeckers with amazing tongues, perfectly suited to extract insects from deep crevices in the bark of trees. And he has equipped us with tongues capable of praising him, comforting others, and spreading the gospel to a dying world. But our tongues, if misused, can curse God, belittle others, and spread falsehoods. None of us have fully mastered the tongue in the service of God. We all have much of which to repent. There are few things God has given to us that can do more good - or more harm. - John
