"If this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail."
-  Acts 5:38
The poet Robert Burns once wrote that "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."  This image illustrates the truth of that saying. My plan was to photograph a woodpecker as it flew away from a branch. Well, when he was ready, I was not. As a result I missed what might have been a very good image. Human undertakings often fail because God has other plans. It is best to ask ourselves if what we plan is God's will. If it is, we will have success. If not, we can console ourselves with the knowledge that God has something better in mind. Seek his will. It is better than ours.  -  John
