I believe all birds have a certain beauty about them. This female downy woodpecker does. But, even though she is beautiful, she appeared so much more beautiful when she landed on a branch full of flowering buds. Everything looks better when it is surrounded by beauty. And so do we when we surround ourselves with people who have the beauty of godliness. Godly friends are a treasure which can enhance our lives and help us reflect the beauty that God has placed in all his children. Ours is a beauty which is given as a gift, not something we have earned. And now is the time that it should be shown to a world in desperate need of beauty and the source of all beauty. - John
