Some birds look cute, some look regal, some look graceful, and some honestly look evil. Grackles fall into the latter category. I think it is in the eyes that look so menacing. In Jesus' model prayer, he tells us to ask God not to lead us into temptation, but to deliver us from evil and its author, Satan. Real evil, and there is real evil in our world, is not always so easy to identify. Satan can come to us dressed as an angel of light, and sometimes in religious clothing. Looks can be deceiving. Always measure what you are taught and believe by scripture. Jesus fought evil with scripture. And so should we. - John
